About the Author
Michele Ketzmerick earned a bachelor's degree in Human Justice, and teaches classes in the Correctional Studies Program at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology. She lives outside a Saskatchewan city with her husband Murray; they have three children. Michele works as the Director of a correctional facility and treatment centre.

As a recent apostate myself, I thoroughly enjoyed Michele Ketzmerick’s recount of her path from a faithful Catholic to a non-believer. She clearly struggled throughout the process. But in the end, when she allows herself to think critically about her faith, her church and the Bible on which it is based, she comes to the obvious conclusion that, like all other religions throughout the history of man, this too is pure myth.
I admire how, in spite of her new found freedom from religion, Michele still has a respect and tolerance for people of faith. This is not a book that tries to de-convert people; it simply tells her story about her de-conversion. But if you are in the process of questioning your faith and, especially if you are wracked with guilt and fear about it, I encourage you to read this book and discover that you are not alone.
